Bridging classroom learning and digital practice through secure, localized technology
helloDeutsch, launched in January 2025, was designed to give Bangla-speaking students an accessible and modern way to learn the German language. It serves as both an independent learning platform and an integrated digital extension of GLAB’s physical German language courses.
JoulesLabs partnered with GLAB to build a secure, exam-ready education platform that combines structured lessons, vocabulary tools, and digital assessments tailored for local learners.
Challenges & Solutions
Problem Statement
Bangla-speaking students learning German often faced three major obstacles:
- Lack of localized, Bangla-supported digital learning tools
- Poor integration between online learning and offline coursework
- Security challenges in managing online exams and user access
The objective was to create a digital platform that replicated classroom discipline while offering the flexibility and richness of self-paced learning.
Approach & Solution
Secure Learning Environment
Each student account is linked to a single device through OTP verification, ensuring data integrity and preventing account sharing.
Localized Experience
A built-in German–Bangla–English dictionary, grammar modules, and interactive sentence banks support real contextual learning.
Exam Integration for GLAB Students
Exclusive online exams allow GLAB course graduates to take timed, single-attempt tests with secure OTP-based authentication.
Comprehensive Admin Dashboard
Administrators and moderators can manage students, questions, and content directly from a central dashboard, maintaining control over learning material, exam scheduling, and grading.
